IMARK Electric Announces 2019 Circle of Honor Winners

Congratulations to the IMARK member companies that have been inducted into the 2019 Gateway to Growth (GTG) Circle of Honor.

Employees at IMARK member companies who finish in the top seven in each of six competitive categories became eligible to take part in a sweepstakes with some terrific prizes.

Circle of Honor points were earned based on the number of GTG suppliers and the number of GTG product lines purchased in 2019. Participants also earned extra points when they purchased GTG products from their 2019 GainShare partners.

IMARK awarded more than 900 prizes to individuals at the 42 winning companies. Custom travel experiences, staycations, spa packages and Apple air pods are examples of some of the prizes. Many others won $25 gift cards.

Cape Electrical Supply Appoints New President Cape Electrical Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of Graybar in Cape

Girardeau, Missouri has appointed Ryan Weissmueller as president. He has been with the company since 2006 working in various capacities, including serving as vice president of finance since 2016.

Kyle Thoma has served as president since 2012 and CEO since 2013. Moving forward, Thoma will remain CEO and work to expand Cape Electric’s growing services business, CES Integration (CESI).

Crescent Electric Appoints VP of Marketing

Crescent Electric Supply Co. in East Dubuque, Illinois has appointed Jeff Lampe to the position of vice president of marketing. In his new role, Lampe will build and lead Crescent's go-to-market strategy across all sales and marketing channels.

Lampe is a global marketing leader who specializes in demand generation, marketing automation and digital marketing using customer insights and analytics.

He brings with him a proven track record of generating return on investment (ROI), net-new business and leadership excellence. He previously held a marketing role with tech distributor Arrow Electronics for more than 20 years.

In his most recent role as senior director of America's Marketing, he achieved a 60:1 ROI through demand identification efforts with one of Arrow's top suppliers.

Summit Names President, CEO

Summit Electric Supply in Albuquerque, New Mexico recently announced Patrick Davis will serve as president and CEO. Davis has more than 25 years of experience within electrical distribution, most recently as the Northeast Region president at Rexel, USA, where he had full line responsibility for Rexel and Gexpro operations. Before that, Davis served in various vice president, senior vice president and general manager roles where his functional responsibilities included sales, marketing and operations.

With Davis' strong leadership and industry knowledge in place, Victor Jury Jr. will transition to executive chairman, focused on refining the company's guiding principles, strategic vision and direction, as well as mergers and acquisitions. This is the culmination of a multi-year plan to ensure Summit's future as an independent and privately held company. This process included the formation of an independent Board of Directors in early 2018.

Crown Supply Names New Member to Projects Team

Crown Supply named Melanie Charbonneau as part of its projects team, with a focus on lighting. She brings with her more than two decades of experience in the lighting industry, ranging from the United States to Australia.

Charbonneau has worked with architects and engineers, as well as training manufacturers' reps.

Along the way, she has not only witnessed the many changes in the lighting industry but also been a major part of those changes. This experience has enabled her to uniquely know what customers want and when they need it.

Warshauer Promotes Krajewski, Raises Funds for ACS

Warshauer Electric Supply in Tinton Falls, New Jersey has promoted Daniel Krajewski to the newly created role of finance and operations manager for the Generator Service Division. Krajewski has been an asset in the accounting department at Warshauer for about a year. He will continue to be responsible for inventory receiving and accounts payable, as well as generator sales billing. In his new role, he will also interact directly with the generator service teams to ensure post-service financials, billing, paperwork and general operating procedures are followed and executed in a timely and streamlined manor.

He will work out of the company's headquarters in Tinton Falls and will report to Executive Vice President Jim Dunn. In other company news, Warshauer Electric Supply customers, employees and families participated in a 5K walk in October 2019 and raised $1,009 to aid in the development and research of breast cancer treatments.

“For this being the first year we formed a company team, we had a great turnout and the weather held out perfectly,” Dunn said. “Warshauer takes great pride in joining the community and displaying corporate social responsibility.”

Loeb Electric Rolls Out New Website, Rebranding

Loeb Electric, an independent electrical distributor and service provider in Columbus, Ohio, recently rebranded and announced the launch of its new website, which is focused around electrical and lighting services and supplies for both national account and contractor customers.

The new branding includes a modern aesthetic with a nod to Loeb's history and industry expertise. While blues and grays are the backbone of the brand, a secondary palette including aqua, yellow and orange has been added. Current conductor lines have also been added as a design element with an homage to the electrical industry.

Parrish-Hare Donates to Families to Freedom

This past holiday season, Parrish-Hare in Irving, Texas and its employees reached out to Families to Freedom, a Dallas-based charity that provides survivors of domestic violence free long-distance transportation to reunite with family or to get to shelter far away.

Parrish-Hare donated pallets of car seats, snacks, travel activities, gift cards and comfort items. Families to Freedom wrote, “We're grateful to Parrish-Hare Electrical Supply for their pallets of donated items to support travel in the new year. Special thanks to Margaret Hare for raising us up to everyone there! We have enough snacks, car seats, food gift cards and travel gear for months to come!&rdquo
