Celebrates Platinum Members, Suppliers, Agency Reps

The IMARK Platinum program recognizes and rewards IMARK members, suppliers and agency rep firms that participate fully and effectively in support of IMARK marketing and sales growth programs.

You can see a list of the members, suppliers and agency reps that earned enough points to achieve IMARK Platinum status in 2019 on pages 95 to 100 of this issue. IMARK Electrical distributor members that achieve Platinum status earn an extra $6,000 rebate paid by IMARK.

The Platinum recognition program provides a road map for the companies in our "community" that want to take maximum advantage of their membership in or association with IMARK Electrical

Knowledge Sharing and Constructive Feedback

One of the most important ways for members to earn Platinum points is by taking full advantage of the valuable information developed specifically for our membership by our suppliers and service providers.

IMARK Electrical distributor members who earn 100 or more points will achieve Platinum status in 2020. Members can earn up to 64 points by encouraging their employees to learn about the products and resources available from suppliers, which can lead to increased sales and customer satisfaction. Ways to learn about suppliers' products and resources include:

  • Banner ads on the IMARK website home page
  • Gateway to Growth product capsules and the Product Blast feature on the IMARK home page
  • IMARK University courses

Each of these resources features a mechanism that allows IMARK member employees to quickly share an assessment of the relevance of the message. The assessment, in turn, provides valuable feedback to supplier marketers who can use it to fine tune their knowledge transfer to member customers

This information exists so that IMARK Electrical member employees are among the first to be “in the know” about key supplier-related information that can spur increased sales and market share. All IMARK member leaders are asked to encourage their employees to take full advantage of this exclusive IMARK benefit.

Introducing the Interactive Digital Edition of IMARK Electrical Now

We are pleased to introduce the interactive digital version of our magazine. Among other things, our readers will be able to share their assessments of advertisers’ messaging (and earn Platinum points). Over time, many of the articles in the digital edition will link to related content to provide readers with additional information on a particular topic.

We are excited by the many opportunities we will have to share relevant and useful information with this dynamic tool.

Like our readers, we aim to keep up with the changing ways that people prefer to gather information. To the extent that we can encourage a dialogue between advertisers and their audience, so much the better.

Of course, we will continue to publish our print edition of the magazine for readers that prefer to gather their information in the traditional method.
