There is no way to prevent arc flash, but a proactive strategy using one of the five methods presented in this video is recommended to mitigate arc flash, so what matters most stays safe. They are resistance-grounded systems, smaller transformers feeding separate busses, arc-resistant switchgear, current-limiting fuses and arc-flash detection relays.
